Best Hunting Parks in the U.S.

Great Nebraska Hunting claims to have the best in Nebraska pheasant hunting! Nebraska Game and Parks reports an increase of more than 20 percent for both pheasant and quail for 2008-2009. They have recently completed their 150th acre of new habitat, and they claim to offer "The Way it used to be" style hunting. Their spring turkey seasons have seen more than 1.5 turkeys taken per hunter for a hunt of less than two days, and the fall season has seen equal success. The turkey numbers are again very high for 2010. The park also offers mule and whitetail deer hunting. They have an area devoted to deer that is over two miles wide and three and one-half miles long. This offers the possibility of bagging big bodied, large racked bucks!

Dome Mountain Ranch has elk and mule deer galore on one of the largest private lands north of Yellowstone National Park. This land borders vast acres of USFS wilderness, which augments the quality opportunity for elk and mule deer. The hunts are primarily on horseback and hiking. There is an intensive hunter preparation program that gets the hunters ready. They are offering modern, private cabins and home-cooked meals in the ranch lodge.

Boar hunting continues to grow with leaps and bounds in the world of big game hunting. Wild Boar Reserve offers an exciting opportunity to hunt German wild boar that originate from the Black Forest, Germany. Wild boar have thick coats with bristly outer hairs, and they develop a thick woolly undercoat to survive the
cold winter. Upper tusks (called honors) sharpen the bottom tusks (called rippers), which keeps them ready for battle. These are three of the best hunting parks in the country, and they represent many others throughout the U.S.A.
