The United States has multiple places to hunt. Some of the of the best places are in Montana, South Carolina, and Texas. Hunters are welcome in all Pennsylvania State Parks.
The white-tailed deer is arguably Minnesota's most popular wildlife species. Each year, approximately 500,000 hunters harvest roughly 200,000 deer.
Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) offers a variety of hunting opportunities through two public hunting systems. The 48 dollar annual public hunting Permit provides nearly year-round hunting on approximately 1.2 million acres of land. Hunting Park is a neighborhood in the North Philadelphia section of the United States city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Like many North Philadelphia neighborhoods, it grew mainly in the 1920's and 1940's. The neighborhood's namesake is a large park which is a regular location for recreation for many in the area. Hunting Island is South Carolina’s single most popular state park attracting more than a million human visitors a year.
Also attracted to the semi-tropical barrier island is an array of wildlife, ranging from loggerhead sea turtles to painted buntings, barracudas to sea horses, alligators, pelicans, dolphins and deer, raccoons, Eastern diamondback rattlesnakes and even the rare coral snake. Indian Valley Reservoir is located in eastern Lake County. Knoxville State Wildlife Area is located on the Lake and Napa County line. It offers more than 8,000 acres of prime deer hunting country purchased by the DFG. No motorized vehicles are allowed in this area, it is hike-in only. Cow Mountain Recreation Area offers good hunting in northeastern Napa and Lake Counties on BLM land.
