Best Hunting Parks on the East Coast

The Skinner Bog Hunt Park is a good bet for some trophy hunting. Located in Dixmont, Maine they raise their own deer, securing the best bloodlines for the best trophies of the breeds. They offer hunts for boar, sika deer, fallow deer, red stag, elk and buffalo. Don't let the name fool you, the hunt park is dry and is not a bog. Any standard hunting weapon is allowed and they will help you out of the park with your animal. They also have a butchering service as well as taxidermy. They have excellent accommodations for your comfort and free guide service for the first 3 days of your stay.

While you are checking out Maine, you might want to look-up the A-1 Nova Scotia Outfitters for trophy deer and black bear hunts. Combo deer and bear hunts are available. If you are not so much a big game hunter, how about some small game? Owens Station Sporting Clays is a family owned and operated preserve near Greenwood, Delaware. Available for you hunting pleasure are upland birds such as pheasant, quail, chukar, partridge and red legs. They have guides and dogs available and overnight accommodations. You can also go to Dover and the Marshtown Hunting Preserve for hunting upland birds like pheasant, quail, chukar and huns. New accommodations are available and they can even train your dog to retrieve birds.

In North Carolina, just 5 miles from Ahoskie in north east North Carolina, visit the C. Pierce Farms Shooting Preserve. You can hunt pheasant, quail, chukar and deer. If you take your own dog they have kennels, hunting guides and dog trainers on site.
