American Hunting Parks

A hunting park is defined as a park where domesticated animals are supplied for harvesting by normal hunting activity. In Utah, there are nearly 50 elk farms and hunting parks, and there may be more that are not on the list. These farms specialize in the sale of domesticated big game animals to hunting parks in many areas of the United States and Canada. Madsen Hunting Park in Greenfield, Utah and the Royal Rut Hunting Preserve in Eagle Mountain, Utah are just 2 hunting parks in Utah.

Hunting in state and national parks may be permitted, but laws must be followed in the park, and the laws may be different for each state. Hunting in Idaho's Island Park Zone can make you a trophy hunter with the moose, mountain goat, deer, big horn sheep, elk and antelope available. Idaho has them all plus black bear, cougars, turkeys and waterfowl, along with trapping and fishing too. In the Bob Marshall Wilderness there are elk, whitetail and mule deer, bear, cougar, antelope, moose and upland birds.

Want to hunt in Texas? American Outfitters in the Panhandle, just east of Amarillo, have hunting packages for whitetail and mule deer, duck, pheasant, turkey and dove. The Ranch Boss Hog Hunt takes place 75 miles east of San Antonio in Gonzales, Texas. Hunt packages may be used July 1, 2009 to November 1, 2009. Other big game can be added to your Hog Hunt such as black buck, oryx antelope, bison, axis deer, and fallow deer. Trophy whitetail can be taken in Texas in the Welk and McMullen counties.
