Hunting Seasons

Hunting season is always everyone's favorite time of the year. Hunting season is usually in the fall. It normally starts right around Thanksgiving and lasts until April. Deer hunting is the most popular time to hunt.

During May 3 to May 31 you are allowed to get a wild turkey. From September to November you can hunt for bear.

Hunting season is never in the summertime. They do not have any dates listed for the months of June to August. However, the only thing that is listed for you to hunt from May 15 all the way to the end of January of a new year is a squirrel. You can only hunt for rabbits from October 1 to March 15 of a new year.

When it comes to hunting there is a season open for only certain things. For starters, if you want to go deer hunting, you are only allowed to get a deer that has no antlers from November 22 to December 7. You have to have a license to go hunting, it is a must. Another thing to remember is that just because a season is open for hunting in one state, does not make it so for all states.

Any animal that you can think of, excluding dog and cat, you can hunt legally. There are dates that will only let you hunt with a bow and arrow and there are some with a gun. It is always listed online.
